Using our mind, we begin the process of building and then moving energy, in order to repair internal damage and protect our body from external pathogens. We start by developing Qi, or healing energy, imagining it as a small, white-hot pearl at the seat of an ‘inner cauldron’ that sits roughly 1 ½ inches beneath and behind our bellybutton. Imaging this pearl is paramount.
A recent study came to the same conclusion that many people have already arrived at: that Acupuncture is an effective weight loss tool. With more and more people adding acupuncture to their weight loss regimen, what was needed was a critical assessment of the studies that have been performed.
Imagine that your saliva is like honey and has healing properties. Swallow it, and feel the healing energy of your saliva as it goes down your throat, your esophagus, down into your stomach, small intestine, large intestine and, simultaneously, out to your bloodstream, thereby nourishing your entire body.
So the point of this missive is merely to say, Chill Out.
