I’ve just discovered a terrific government-sponsored website that helps people in their stop-smoking process (and I do know it’s a process). Setting aside all snide remarks related to the idea that government is doing right by the little guy I’ll simply say that it’s got some great stuff on there, including a Cravings Journal, quizzes on Depression, Stress, Second-hand smoke, and smoking triggers. This one particular page also asks the smoker to ask him/herself to discover reasons for quitting, among other consciousness-raising articles that I think are simply wonderful.
